Sick
I haven't posted or commented because I've been sick since my last post. Actually, I was sick before that post, but had came into work anyway. I actually came in late that night and left a couple hours early. I had fever and was freezing and passing out on my chair in front of the computer. I basically have worked one (not a full one) night since last Wednesday night. So I basically had like 11 day's off! It was great, for the most part. I got pretty damn sick. Did you go see a doctor, Jenn? Yeah right. I don't go to hospitals, people die there. I've been coughing so hard my stomach is sore, not to mention my back. I was afraid to break a rib at one point. The worst part about it is my son caught "it" from me. He's had fever and a slight cough. Then I gave it to my 5 month old niece. Bad auntie! I swear I TRIED not to kiss her! But you can't look at her and not kiss her! That's just crazy! And it was only on the head, damnit. Bad auntie. Bad mama, too. Boo. I just hope he gets better. I'm still feeling like shit, but don't want to miss anymore work, so I drug my ass here.
I know I need to finish posting about Vegas, but after rereading that last post, I did the fun we had no justice. I'm kinda feeling like it's come and gone. I know, I suck! But maybe I just don't want to post because I'm still sick. Hopefully I be in the mood for it. Just to let you know, I'm a loser and didn't go to the "Weenie Roast." Instead I enjoyed a nice candle-lit dinner with a gorgeous view next to the marina.

OJ - the cure for almost everything(except in Nicole Simpsons case). Failing that, bananas are pretty good... mmmm...endorphins!

Get well, and forget the rest of the Vegas trip post. I know what you mean about waiting too long and then it's gone.
I hope you're explaining to your son about the cons of going to a doctor. Make sure he grows up all "I can cure myself too" (and please discourage the use of bike helmets too). A few cuts and scrapes are okay. Anyway.
You sure do have colorful adjectives for blogger. I hate that you have so much trouble because I am sure the retyped stories lose some of the initial pizazz, but I always get a laugh from your rants on the blogger bitch.

When I was little and got sick my grandma used to rub Vick's on my chest. And I have some I can run on for you. Let me know.

Has it never occured to you that I may have just been sick for the last year or so? With such a view, the few times I have posted should be luaded as feats of superhuman machismo. I vote you create a new column for "Sick!" people!! I, for one, would love to be thought of as sick, among other things.

Doym, that's a hot tottie the old fashioned way! They work, too. My dad used to hook us up with those. And if we had a tooth ache he'd rub whiskey on our gums to numb 'em.
Being sick this long, I've heard of one thousand and one remedies! I still have a fucking headache.

Okay, Mr. Metro himself. You can give me some of your "high tech" hair stuff. Or not! I don't want to spend $50 on some bull shit all those plastic, water drinking bones in Hollywood use. You can use your pretty shampoo and conditioner, I'll stick to Pantene and the Garnier Fructis. I aint no high maintenance ho. I'll save my money for music, beer, and all the things I'd much rather enjoy than some shampoo that supposedly lathers or does some kinda special something to my hair. My hair is pimp 'cause it's pimp, so run with it.

I was just going to try to do my post that I drafted last night, but the draft has somehow disappeared. I'm tired of bitching about it. It's my Friday, I'm working a 12 maybe 14 hour shift. I'll fight with this beast when I get back on Sunday night.
I hate doing a post like thing here, but I have no other options right now.

I tried posting for a few day's and it won't let me. I finally got frustrated and gave up. I tried again tonight, and same shit.
