:D

LOL.

I have to say, also a class piece of music but not near to the brilliance of the last one in my opinion ;) (I do so love that song!)

I agree with you Jenn.

YOU DO HAVE KICKASS TASTE IN MUSIC. : )

Hi pretty person. Still hanging on are you, your hiatus lasted two days. Dont be so self effacing Jenn, be more positive, you are a nice person and people do care about you. Vest DAILY GAGGLE.

The Segar version is better.....

La Bona, intermittent use of the Bold tag leads to unclean imaginings and defilement of one's chastity. Cease your intermittent use of the Bold tag in the future.

What you fail to mention also is that Ayah Pin is not an apostate, but rather he has declared himself to be God. This is illegal in Christian States, and is ample reason for someone to be singled out for persecution, even death.

In a nation such as Malaysia, which has a form of bureaucratic legal administration, it doesn't take much to stack charges against a heretic so official punishment can be meted out. I have one word for that: Waco.

You also fail to mention that Ayah Pin had meetings with "unidentified" British businessmen, or that the arrest was in fact preliminary to a proposed search for subversive, anti-Muslim material.

The actual attack on the compound was perpetrated by non-governmental, Muslim citizens, outraged at the heresy of Ayah Pin, and his apparently kind treatment at the hand of Malaysian authorities.

Nice try, though.

That being said, Jenn is awesome and intelligent. I had just a little quiver of doubt, but only because my ex-girlfriend used to listen to Portishead and I immediately overcame it with pure thoughts, and the secure knowledge that a lot of other people do too.

Jenn...have you heard Julee Cruise? Sang Twin Peaks music?

Jenn, usually I find myself loving me some you when I read your blog. As a recovering metalhead myself, I have a hard time listening to my dear Mettalica sining a Bob Seger tune. It was almost as painful as listening to James singing "Whiskey in a jar-o!" I may be living in the past, but long live Master of Puppets!

As I was driving to work Saturday, on one radio station was Turn the Page by Bob Seger. I had to make sure I wasn't missing a better song, so I turned on another station. Metallica's version was playing at the same time. I like their version better, mainly because of the part where James goes "what you said". C'mon, you know what I'm talking about. Why I got such a kick out of the two songs being on at the same time I'll never understand. And this post was definitley an appropriate place to start ranting about unjustly persecuted people. Listening to Metallica really makes me want to change the world.

Katie, I fucking miss you!! Like all kinds.

Weird that you commented tonight, I was gonna text you, then I remembered I had better things to do, like sleep. Or maybe I was reading.

I so hope you're back home and ready to blog. It's just not the same without you.

Not a bad cover, but I like the original version better. I used to be a huge fan of Metallica in the 80s but can't stand anything they've done after the Black Album. Saw them in '86, Cliff Burton's last tour. They blew Ozzy off the stage.

I feel like you're just rerunning my post tryi8ng to be as cool as I am. Give up now. You win.
