Strangers in the night... la la la la la la la...

I'm a bit confused also, but that's a cool drawing.

Stranger In A Strange Land:

Was many years ago that I left home and came this way
I was a young man full of hopes and dreams
But now it seems that all is lost and nothing gained
Sometimes things ain’t what they seem
No brave new world no brave new world

Night and day I scan horizon sea and sky
My spirit wanders endlessly
Until the day will dawn and friends from home discover why
Hear me calling rescue me
Set me free, set me free
Lost in this place and leave no trace

Stranger in a strange land
Land of ice and snow
Trapped inside this prison
Lost and far from home

One hundred years have gone and men again they come that way
To find the answer to the mistery
They found his body lying where if fell that day
Preserved in time for all to see
No brave new world no brave new world
Lost in this place to leave no trace

What became off men that started
All are gone and souls departed
Left me here in this prison
So all alone

Good god! What has been going on in Jenn-land?!? Seeing as how you haven't poured your heart out here the way that I have on my blog recently (good or bad, I don't know) it's hard to really say anything.

I will leave with this. I hope you are well Jenn. No matter what is going on things always get better ( I took that from my mom's book...I apologize)

I know the feeling well of wishing you were strangers again. Wiping something out. Those times, those experiences. (if that's what you meant).

Have you ever seen Eternal Sunhine of the Spotless Mind? If not, you should.

HAVE A HAPPY TURKEY DAY JENN AND LITTLE ONE!

12:53 PM

is that a map of Africa?

1:28 PM

Jenn are you ok? Or do we need to buy you a plane ticket?

3:59 PM

Nope, not Africa. Looks like the Southwestern United States, before it was called "The United States." I think that's Mexcio there towards the south.

Being strangers means new beginnings, a chance to start anew.

I hope you can take comfort in those you care about, like friends and family during this holiday season, however.

Take care.

1577 map of CA/OR coastline, baja california, and new mexico.

Have a great Thanksgiving! I look forward to hearing from you when I return.

The map brings in ideas of worlds that are apart again. It would be as if the world was never colonized, was still pure, a virgin, a stranger once again to the culture that pressed it under its thumb.

It seems that there are two people, two different cultures, two different ways of being and the person the speaker addresses, is the one who oppresses still.
