I am indeed a blog slacker! I've been a busy bee. Or maybe not, but it feels like it. Next week I should be at the Pavilion hearing Nine Inch Nails play live. Yeah, baby. In two weeks I will be flying solo to LA to watch my boys The Panic Channel on Dave Navarro's birthday nonetheless. Fucking sweet! Towards the end of June I will be seeing INXS with their new little frontman, whom I actually happen to think has skill. Then in August we are going by train to Arizona to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers (Yay! John Frusciante!) and The Mars Volta! We decided on train to change it up from roadtrip and/or plane. Anyhow, I hope to get back into the blog soon, but I will be MIA for a while.
Don't cry. All is as it should be!

I am started to get offended with this whole "I'm going to LA and am drooling over every guy there yet I haven't asked John to get together" attitude.
John, I am going for one night alone. I am going to the show, I am partying after and leaving the following morning. I'm not getting in 'til late that afternoon. I'm flying into Ontario and then making the hour drive to LA, checking into my hotel, getting ready and heading to the show. If you're gonna be in downtown LA, by all means we can party.

If you can switch, burbank would be closer & easier. Ontario is a drive. About 13 miles vs. maybe 40 plus...and it's 5 miles from me ;-)
If you cannot change airports, expect it to take more than an hour - fyi - in case you want an earlier flight.
A good rule of thumb out here is to double whatever amount of time mapquest or yahoo directions indicate as the driving time.
I'm flying into Ontario because my ride lives there and it's cheaper than LAX. Burbank is usually a decent price, but I didn't even get quotes on that as it is out of the way. I'm good on timing. I'll be leaving early that morning.
I am going to be in Hell-A on the 3rd to have breakfast with a fellow blogger Jennilicious!!! Then we are heading down San Diego way so I can show the sights and sounds of my favorite city :)

Woo hoo for concert plans. But you fail to mention how it's your BIRTHDAY TODAY. Happy 23rd Birthday Ma! I don't know how to do all that fancy schmancy stuff or else i'd totally make you a page like you did for me. I hope you have a fun day and get to celebrate like a 23 year old should. Cause you are 23, right? Right. Love you!

Man, I hate JD. I heard Pretty Vegas and almost puked. I have to admit though, it wasn't bad. I'm still bitter that Suzy didn't win it.
You'll have to write some reviews. Would love to hear what you think about INXS w/o Hutchense. No, I've never seen them live, but heard they were one of the better acts of their time period.
I wonder how Mars Volta's going to be live too. So much of their last album was studio tricks.
For me, it's Ministry tomorrow night in San Francisco.
