Infamous

Another gloomy day down at the station. I wake up to a text message telling me that one of our Deputy's was shot and killed. Further information has yet to be released to the public. It's snowing out, the roads are icing up, schools are closing down, families are calling to make sure it's not one of their own. My friends in Crime Analysis have been here all morning trying to get to the core of it. The mood of the building is overall somber. Today will prove to be a long day.

Take a deep breath ... release it slowly ... today is "one thing at a time". Relax (as much as possible) ... allow the story to unfold at its own pace ... (which is never fast enough) It is a SHIT situation which you will live through (and that really sucks!)

i am so sorry for those of you that work in the enviroment of that. senseless crap like this can either harden us to the joy of being alive or create an excuse to push beyond boundaries.
my prayers for his family and friends as well as everyone it touches. Deputy McGrane deserved better and i'm sure his family will be needing support.
it seems the suspect was already wanted for murder.
this nimrod deserves the death penalty much more than the fictional teens jenn wrote about.

Being on vacation, I have followed this story throughout the day. My sincerest condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Deputy McGrane. Also, my honest, heart-felt empathy and prayers for Jenn and the other members of the Sheriff's Department for their loss and the pain, uproar, and bullshit which must be endured to bring this matter to a proper conclusion ... the removal of this dirtbag from society.

That's so terrible...I feel bad for the officer's family.

I'm really sorry to hear about the death of a deputy. As much as I want to see them fry the person responsible, it won't happen soon enough. I can only hope he/she is suicidal.

4:00 AM

So sorry, sweet girl. I wish I had something better to say than that...

6:33 AM

Hey Amber, I thought you were missing. So what was the alert about then???

10:52 AM

*brings you some tea* :(

Sorry.

12:34 PM

Hey Jenn sorry to hear the sad news. I will say a prayer for the officers family and co-workers. Hang in there sweetie.

Your deputies have had it rough over the last year. Sorry that you lost another one.

Did you know the deputy?

What can you do about it or the weather? Nothing. So let it go, protect yourself, and enjoy your life.

5:43 PM

Sorry to hear about the lost to the family. It is so sad to hear these things. I hope everyone really rallys around the family. They will really need it.

10:16 PM

Its hard to rationalize the small paychecks they get with the danger of their work enviornment. Law enforcement is a tough way to make a living..you really have to love it.
